Pokemon showdown team codes9/19/2023 The Togekiss on this team is somewhat similar to the one on Edu's team but carries Helping Hand over Air Slash and thus drops Serene Grace for Super Luck. Ludicolo Pelipper forms the typical offensive Rain lead that is able to pump out fast and strong damage from turn 1. It's an interesting Rain, Tailwind, Trick Room hybrid with plenty of versatility and tricks. Finally, Ferrothorn is just the standard set you would have seen for years now but still does its job well.Ī team piloted by the 2015 World Champion, Shoma Honami. Arcanine is the standard bulky set which can whittle down teams with multiple Intimidates and Snarls which makes the whole team even harder to bring down. Hydreigon may seem to have declined in popularity in favor of Dragapult but its typing, stats, and ability do give it a strong niche which granted it a spot on this team as a strong special attacker. Jellicent is a neat Trick Room supportive Pokemon that can really harass a team with Scald burns and Strength Sap. Dynamaxing increases its potential as it is now not only doing incredible damage but raising its weaker special defense stat. Rhyperior is likely one of the best Trick Room sweepers in the format as it is not only strong but very bulky. Togekiss provides plenty of support but carries Yawn as a means to potentially force Pokemon to switch out in fear of being put to sleep. A very strong and bulky team with plenty of defensive typing synergy that lets his Pokemon switch in and out fairly often. Since this Haxorus is a more defensive build that lacks any raw power it carries Guillotine to still be a threat even after being crippled by multiple Intimidates or a burn status.Ī team used by EmbC to win another Galar Weekly. With Dynamax, it can fire off MaxSteel and MaxQuake to potentially eliminate threats while also providing stat buffs to itself and the partner. Finally, Haxorus is the most interesting mon here as it acts as a hybrid of support and offensive threat. Dusclops and Arcanine support Snorlax and Toxapex by throwing out stat dropping moves to make the whole team more resilient while Clefable can redirect dangerous attacks and heal up its partner with Life Dew. Toxapex has the same idea as Snorlax but isn't able to boost its attacking power and mainly relies on Stockpile + Baneful Bunker + Recover to outlasts teams. Curse + Recycle Snorlax is there to sit on the field and stack Curse boosts while using Recycle occasionally to recover health from its Berry after it was already used. This is a more defensive-oriented team designed to slow down the pace of the game by whittling away at the opposing team and trying to win with either Haxorus, Toxapex, or Snorlax. Finally, Torkoal just acts as a strong attacker by spamming Eruption as much as possible.Īnother team from LegacyVGC. Shiinotic acts as a budget Amoonguss but makes use of Room Service to be able to take on opposing Trick Room teams by being slower because of Room Service and putting them to sleep with Spore. Dusclops is another Trick Room user that can work and is especially helpful for Snorlax to try to keep it alive as long as possible with the use of Will-O-Wisp to break down physical attackers and Ally Switch to swap places in front of potential fighting attacks. The core itself is very vulnerable to Duraladon and powerful spread moves so it should not be used recklessly. With the combination of Follow Me and Psychic Terrain, Indeedee is able to keep Hatterene safe from the majority of typical hard answers to Trick Room while Hatterene is able to set up and then fire off powerful attacks in the following turns. A fairly unique team that makes use of the popular Hatterene + Indeedee hard Trick Room combo as well as Belly Drum Snorlax.
